What is baptism?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward heart-change. Choosing to live for and follow Jesus is a decision that is truly life-changing!
Baptism by immersion represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and our old selves as we become a new creation in Christ.
But I was baptized as a baby...
We think it's wonderful that your parents were interested in your spiritual journey from the start! We honor what they did out of a place of love and care for you.
We believe baptism for salvation is a choice each of us must make for ourselves. Since babies are not able to make this life-changing decision on their own, we do not practice infant baptism.
