Food Collection for GRIN

Our FORth Saturday projects for November and December will be to collect food and other needs for Gahanna Residents In Need (GRIN).  The mission of GRIN is to alleviate hunger for Gahanna-Jefferson school district and 43230 zip code residents.

The GRIN values are driven and defined by faith in God.

Monthly Needs:

November – Au-Gratin/Scalloped Potatoes, Rice/Pasta Side Dishes & Toilet Paper

December – Canned Meats (tuna, chicken), Peanut Butter & Personal Hygiene Items

(deodorant, razors, bar soap)

Emergent Needs:

Clients on the SNAP program can’t use their food cards to buy cleaning supplies or toiletries:

Laundry detergent

Liquid dish soap

Paper Towels

Disposable diapers

Other Canned Food Items:

Hunt’s Four Cheese Spaghetti Sauce

Mandarin Oranges

Peaches

Pears

Pineapple Slices and Tidbits

GRIN can also use plastic bags that you get when you purchase items from retail/grocery stores.

Items will be collected at Goshen Lane Elementary School on Sunday mornings, during our worship services, and will be delivered to GRIN in a timely manner.
