Service Project at Knox Berry Farm

Our next service project is May 27th and will be at the Knox Berry Farm in Mount Vernon. They feel called to provide quality produce at fair prices at the farm and farmer’s market.  They also take produce to Interchurch and the Columbus Food Bank.

We will be helping with the planting.  They plant about 1,000 tomato plants, 1,500 pepper plants plus cabbage. Some of our jobs will be bringing trays of plants where they are needed, dropping plants into the holes, and packing soil around the plants. It will be a hands-on work day, but one that will bless them as they in turn bless others with their produce.

We will plan to meet there at 10:00am.
